I’ve been testing a bunch of new products over the last few weeks, and these five have quickly become staples in my routine. They’re easy to use, super flattering on my olive skin tone, and hold up beautifully throughout the day. As always, all links are affiliate links (thank you for your support!), but all opinions are my own.

Armani Golden Hour 24HR Lightweight Skin Tint with Hyaluronic Acid in F3 – This is such a beautiful skin tint that’s worked well with every primer and sunscreen I’ve paired it with. It’s also played well with all my powders. The shade match is great, even though they don’t have the olive shades this light in the range. Even still, I don’t even need a green color corrector when I wear this which is huge for me. It gives light coverage that lets my freckles peek through, similar to the Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Tint. You can build it up a bit to light-medium coverage, but it won’t go a real medium or even full coverage. The finish is natural (not too matte, not too dewy), and really looks just looks like skin but better. It has a slight fragrance, but nothing overpowering or lasting. It blends out incredibly easily and holds up really well throughout the day without getting patchy or breaking up. I’ve honestly been really neglecting my other base products so I can wear this instead. I couldn’t do a swatch of this because it blended into my skin so well you couldn’t see it on camera. Sorry about that!
About Face Beach Freak Bronzer Stick in Beach Goth – This bronzer stick has a gel-like consistency that’s very similar to the Makeup By Mario Skin Enhancer. That makes it incredibly easy to draw on and blend seamlessly. It’s lightly pigmented, which makes it beginner (or running on 3 hours of sleep)-friendly and great for a quick, effortless application. It lasts all day and melts into the skin seamlessly. I’m really impressed with how easy and fun this easy to use and how well it works as a bronzer for me. And of course, most importantly, it doesn’t go orange on me at all. The shade works beautifully with my warm olive skin, and I’m hoping it’ll work well for folks who have trouble finding a bronzer that isn’t too warm.
The Multiple Soft Blur Blush Stick in Trance – This is a beautiful mauve-y violet shade that somehow becomes a soft neutral pink on my olive skin. It has that classic NARS blurring, lightweight formula and blends out effortlessly. The pigmentation level is similar to the About Face stick, so they layer together perfectly. It also works great on the lips for a blurring, soft matte finish (like the original Glossier Gen G lipsticks). It’s a little drying on its own, so I like to pair it with a balm or gloss, but it’s still very comfortable. You could even use it on the eyes for a subtle monochrome look. It wears really well throughout the day and is also a great base for powder blushes.
YSL Make Me Blush 24H Building Powder Blush in Hot Mauve – This is one of the best powder blushes I’ve tried all year. The shade is a true neutral pink on me. It doesn’t go peachy at all, which is surprisingly hard to find. It’s described as a warm rosey taupe, and I just love this shade so much on my skin tone. It’s super smooth, blends beautifully, and gives just the right amount of pigmentation. It’s very blurring and smoothing on the skin, never patchy, and wears really well throughout the day. I also love the packaging (it’s very cute while still luxe-feeling), but that’s just a bonus given how expensive this blush is. I’ve been using this every day since I got it.
Makeup by Mario Master Mattes® Long-Wearing Cream Eyeshadow in Mauve – This shadow has quickly become a one-and-done favorite. The mauve shade is the perfect neutral on my skin tone and looks so polished with very little effort. It applies super easily, blends out quickly, and once it sets, it stays put all day without creasing. I love using it alone, but it also works really well as a base under other powder shadows. It’s exactly what I want in a liquid matte shadow. I also love how easy it is to get just a little bit off the doefoot because the formula is a little thick, which means you don’t end up with way too much that blends out all over your face. I honestly might grab some more shades.
