During the 2021 holidays, I was gifted some Glossier products, including the Body Hero Daily Oil Wash, Moisturizing Moon Mask, and Mega Greens Galaxy Pack. I also have been using the Body Hero Dry-Touch Oil Mist for what feels like years, so I decided to pull together a review of the bodycare and skincare items I’ve used from Glossier. As always, thank you so much for being here, and it would mean so much to me if you subscribe here or on Instagram @liftbakelove for new posts!

Glossier Body Hero Dry-Touch Oil Mist – I’m not a huge fan of the packaging (who wants to spray oil everywhere and try to handle a glass bottle with oily hands?), but the oil in here is the most moisturizing body oil I’ve tried. It also smells great – the scent of this is described as a “Orange Blossom Neroli scent (with fresh notes of pear, mandarin, and cypress) that faintly lingers on skin for a whisper of “vacation” throughout the day” and that is so accurate. It always makes me take a moment to just enjoy how good this smells (and feels), and it definitely does continue to smell great for awhile in good way. It absorbs incredibly fast so moisturizing my whole body with this is super quick. I find I actually use this more often because it sinks in so well and just finished my second bottle (which is why it’s not pictured). I poured it into an airless pump bottle from one of my skincare empties though, and I like using it so much more with pump packaging.
Glossier Body Hero Daily Oil Wash – This has the same scent as the oil, which is honestly the thing I like most about it. I feel like I need to use a ton of this to feel like I’m using enough to be clean, and it feels wasteful to be using so many pumps every time I shower. It says it “turns frothy when it mixes with water, then washes away without drying out skin.” I would say that it does both of these things, but it takes a lot of work and product for it to froth up. It also doesn’t dry out the skin, but it doesn’t moisturize it either. As someone with super dry skin, it just doesn’t do enough for me.
Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask – This mask is one of my favorites for my dry skin. It’s as intensely hydrating as advertised, and my skin always feels so great after I use this. Despite it being incredibly hydrating, it still isn’t quite as moisturizing as the Farmacy Honey Potion Mask, which is my ultimate HG mask. But I’m glad I have both because the Glossier mask doesn’t heat up like the Farmacy one, so it’s way better when I’m not cold, and I’m super excited to have it as an option in Spring and Summer. , but it’s better for when I’m not cold since it doesn’t heat up on the skin like that one does.
Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack – I have incredibly dry skin and haven’t had much luck with clay masks in the past because of that. I only leave this on for about 5 minutes instead of the recommended twenty to avoid having too much moisture pulled from my skin. That said, it’s not too drying and leaves my skin feeling incredibly clear and smooth. It works great following it up with the Moon Mask or any of my other hydrating masks. I thought I wouldn’t like this one but I’m actually really glad I have it!
